Like Olennguaq Kristensen, Aleqatsiaq Peary, whom we met in 2023 during another kayak expedition, is a renowned figure in North Greenland.
A hunter and resident of Qaanaaq, he is also a singer and musician. He has been featured in numerous reports and in a landmark documentary film, The Last Ice (2020).
